Class Is In

This quick Shoefly type quilt was made by Kathy L. for a quilting class she is developing for next month at Grimes Sewing Center in Palestine, Texas. The quilt is made from scraps that she had left over from another project. It's always great when you can use up some of those scraps! Kathy is also a longarm quilter and one of our "wacky" members.

Bags

Hey you "Cruisin' Wackies" does anyone need a last minute bag for make-up or jewelry or whatever? Well, I've got 2 that I'm not using so give me a call. I'll bring them to Gilberto's, anyway.

WE'RE GOING ON A CRUISE!!!

THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY WE WILL BE BOARDING THE "VOYAGER OF THE SEAS", A ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE SHIP, IN GALVESTON, TEXAS. AFTER LEAVING AT 7 AM, WE SHOULD ARRIVE AT DOCK AROUND 11 AM. AFTER THREE CARLOADS OF PASSENGERS AND LUGGAGE ARE DROPPED OFF ON THE DOCK, THE DRIVERS WILL PROCEED TO THE PARKING AREA. AFTER PARKING, THEY WILL RIDE THE SHUTTLE BUS TO THE DOCK AREA AND ALL WACKIES WILL CHECK APPROPRIATE LUGGAGE. (This might take awhile) WE WILL THEN PROCEED TO THE LINE WHERE ALL WILL SHOW OUR PASSPORTS, HAVE OUR WACKY PAC PICTURE MADE IN OUR WACKY PAC SHIRTS AND SUNGLASSES. NEXT : WE BOARD OUR SHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE LOCATE OUR ROOMS, EAT OUR LUNCH, FIND OUR LIFE JACKETS, GO TO SURVIVAL CLASS AND AT 5 PM, STAND AND WATCH DOLPHINS AS WE LEAVE PORT. THE FIRST WACKY PAC CRUISE, 2008.
